Young Guns Training
Young Guns Container Crew (YGCC) has partnered with One Training and JVES to pledge 50 job opportunities as part of their container ground crew. YGCC is committed to providing opportunities for their employees and is dedicated to their purpose of the ‘best version of yourself’.
Together with One Training, YGCC has developed 5 days of industry training to give job seekers the opportunity to learn more about the YGCC business and build personal skills before moving into a container ground crew role.
Program Overview
Within the program we will cover:
YGCC INDUCTION
Here you will learn the background of the business as well as some important information about beginning your career with us including learning the fundamental skills that you will need to be safe and successful in your time at Young Guns.
YGCC ROOKIE DAY 1
This training is designed to give you knowledge and understanding of the Young Guns Standard Operating Procedures. It is vital that these procedures are followed to ensure the Health, Safety and Wellbeing of our team members, as well as our customers.
INITIAL FORKLIFT TRAINING
The purpose of this training is to ensure you are ready to pass your Forklift Assessment (theory) before you are booked to sit the test. The training covers all of the key content you will encounter in your forklift assessment and will put you in good stead to pass the test.
EFFECTIVE COMMUNICATION
This training will equip you with the confidence and resources required to communicate effectively in different settings including when working in a team.
GROWTH MINDSET & GOAL SETTING
Here you will learn strategies in developing and strengthening your growth mindset. Combining this with goal setting will allow for self reflection and life planning.
BECOMING AN EFFECTIVE LEADER
employees to be effective leaders in the workplace. Here you will learn the fundamentals skills of being an effective leader in different settings both personally and in the workplace.
